Fountains were used in the past as sources of water and as meeting points. Today, their presence is purely aesthetic, but they are still an important element in our villages.

Some fountains of Ferrol
Last friday ESO 1 pupils went for a walk for taking photos of the fountains and some other details relationated with the water. It was a rainy day, so we had also some good oportunities and good scenery for the photos. It was a cool walk!
These are the photos of the fountains:
This is a proyect of fountain which never was finished because of the continuous change of mayors in the city.
This is another old drinking fountain for thirsty people.
This is the Jorge Juan Fountain, a famous spanish mathematic and mariner.
And lastly this is the San Roque fountain, built in the 18th century.
We also took photos of the sewerage system, which is different in every city.
