Rome is very famous for its fountains. This is a sample of shots I made during my last trip to Italy:
Fontana di Trevi:
Piazza Santo Pietro:
Piazza Spagna:
Piazza Navona:
Piazza della repubblica:
Villa Borghese:
Fountains were used in the past as sources of water and as meeting points. Today, their presence is purely aesthetic, but they are still an important element in our villages.

Making a tour of Ferrol-Terra, we find fountains and springs of water very pure and crystal. All fountains are drinking water.
The source of Río do Furado was dry by the works of access to the city of Ferrol.
The fountain of San Mamede - Valdoviño.
This is the fountain of Ariño - Valdoviño.
